August photo competition low voter turnout

An excellent idea having the winner as the next months header as I'm sick to death of that stupid red E89 caricature :D I would suggest all photos should be 16 x 9 landscape in that case. I also think you should be able to vote for 1st and 2nd :thumbsup:

Thanks for all the comments and correct it is a lack of votes rather than entries that is requiring the most attention.

Will keep in mind the suggestion about changing the header or doing something similar and discuss with the boss - at the minute it’s a lot of work for 30 or 40 votes each month. Let’s see how the next few months go.

The voting thread is in the gallery each month and is also linked at the top of each individual forum as well.
 
I agree with most of the above. I miss it and forget to look. If maybe there was some more incentive to 'win' aswell? I'm not talking of monetary value, or a plastic trophy, just a bit more recognition?
