James finally limped home about 18:30 after resolving his brakes issue.
Lesson learnt is to get phone numbers so we wouldnt have left him stranded alone. :thumbsdown:

i second that

It's a bit embarrassing really because I fitted the new brake pads myself! The brake pads were sticking slightly on one wheel, which caused it to get quite hot... maybe I didn't lube everything up properly when I installed them.
Anyway, I made it home okay after everything cooled off.
Great to meet everybody yesterday

Hope they the brakes are all sorted now. I saw you peel off but thought it was a petrol stop - apologies if you flashed & I didn't notice.

Hey guys think this is a mix up from last years date and drive ! I hadn't planned on doing it this year because I had so much on
in August I didnt have the time to fit it in.
