Audison k4e or K4m?

Hi all,

I am thinking of upgrading my speakers in my base 6 speaker setup.

For the doors I think the Audison apbmw k4e or k4m would be best. Can anyone explain the difference between the two or which would be best for my E89?

For the rear the x4e or x4m - again is there a difference between the two?

Finally for the footwells does anyone have any ideas for an easy retrofit ?

They have slightly different cross over frequencies

X4s have different depths which on the rear is not relevant for E89

No simple answer for the woofers in the floor..

Myself and another member fairly recently upgraded our basic 6 speaker systems. There are no plug and play options for the footwell speakers as far as I recall but it is not that difficult to install some 6.5" woofers in that location and you can use speaker plugs from other cars as I did in order not to cut the car's wiring loom. where would you place the crossover for the k4m on each door ? there doesnt seem to be much in the way of space? Any ideas?

Good question…maybe you can get it in the space between the door card..inner door skin and the window :thumbsup:
