Hi i need to get bluetooth in my z4 2006 fitted with bog standard business radio. I went down the route of fitting nrw head unit that incorporates phone and witeless streaming but i have been told i will loose my parking sensors. Quite costly at £300 i am now looking at a media bridge grom xlink or denison. My question is has any one got one are they easy to fit and di you still retain all functionality with steering controls and parking sensors.

Why would a new head unit cause you to lose your parking sensors?

I would keep the head unit, after market ones look shite in the zed.

Dension sell an interface to connect to the MFSW, as do parrot iirc.

I have been told the sound is amplified threw the original stereo and there is no hsrness for 2006 model

I'd seriously be taking that with a pinch of salt. Mine has a speaker unit under the drivers footwell trim. Aftermarket HU and it all still works fine.
