Can someone tell me if I need the blue (amp) connector when fitting a different head unit, i.e. does the z4 have an amplifier to boost the aerial signal. The company I had the leads from sent me one that does not have the red ignition live or the blue cable and pin either. When I fitted the jvc unit to the car previously, the connector plug I received then had both.
