Audio and lighting help on Z4 55 reg UK

Z4 Audio help 53 reg, standard audio upgrade

Hi guys, i just bought a second hand Z4 and am having thought about upgrading the speaker system,
i want to retain the head unit which is the bmw business cd system.
however i have the questions below.

1/ if i get some door speakers and put them into the doors are the wires there to connect them to already ( pre wired ) and will they work assuming i use bmw replacement speakers?

2/ does the z4 come pre wired for subwoofers? assuming i amp them up? (will the audio feeds be there)?

3/ does the z4 come with the CD connector prewired for using the Silverline ipod system int he boot or am i not going to find one

4/ are there any items in the z4 which might be pre wired and easy to enable in effect, i have the 2.2i se version. standard wing mirrors, heated seats, multi function wheel.

Also another great task i am really trying to get sorted is the dipped headlights are really bugging me but i cant seem to get to the headlight unit to find the screws?
anyone know how to adjust them?

1) No - but for a cheap fix you can wire them to the mirror tweeters. BMW do produce a specific speaker that has 3 bolt mounting but with a bit of cutting any regular small speaker can be fitted there

2) No as far as I'm aware, but it has space for them in the storage boxes behind the seats. There are severl aguys who have fitted great systems but it seems to be all new wiring.

3) No

4) Depends on exact build date but you shoudl find wiring for cruise control, MFSW. No to door mirrors, heated seats, etc. as such items need extra switches and in some cases modules. Very few wires just waiting for you to plug something in

Have a search of how to's and you'll see lots of projects an what they entail from simple extra bits of wire to major refits
