Audi TT MK3

Looks very similar to the MK2 but quite a big hike in power for the TTS.

305bhp/380Nm 0-60 4.7sec

Interested to see some press reviews over the next few months

Not massively different to the out going model really...useful hike in power/performance though our Twin Clutch model does 0 to 60 in 5.2 so its impressive what they are getting power wise from the 4 pot, its a successful design sales wise though so I wasn't expecting it to look too much different.

The front end on the new car is quite different , I do like the Mkll design tho. It's aged very well and the MKi still looks interesting.

Hmmm.....these are looking tempting....also hopefully the tts ttrs Mk2 prices will plummet ....Sorry Lee... Lol

We where out at the weekend car shopping. A tdi mk2 is on our list as is a c class diesel. They are offering some great contributions towards both these soon yo be updated models.

I actually really enjoyed driving the TT more than the MK1 I had. And the diesel although not fast is a cracking engine. Not sure witch one to go for???? Thinking TT at the moment especially if the deal comes in on budget the car is quite special looking.

Ours has lost a fortune of money anyway as its done too many miles! paid £41k for it in july 2012 brand new & its now done just over 47k miles & I got a quote from we buy any car & was offered £19k!!! heart breaking really but in fairness its rare I ever seem to make money on cars!

Looking at swapping it over the next few months but cant decide what to swap it for but have been considering the TT RS as they seem to be a bit of a weapon but they do get described as a little blunt in road tests.

I might look at a late Mk2 TTS / RS next. The RS needs to depreciate a little more to be in my price range though

I know looks are subjective but I really like the look of the TT & whenever I see one on the road they never fail to turn my head.

I have always liked the look. The one we are looking at is a black edition with the amplified pack. And lots of extras fingers crossed on the offer they make.

They do look great with that amplified pack, a friend of mine has a TDi & I think it looks the business.

Haven't all the mags who've had a TT-RS long-termer loved it? Seem to remember Evo really warming to theirs. Worth it for the noise they make.

On paper the RS is the business as far as I am concerned but most say the TTS is the better car but for me I don't know why as the RS sounds better is loads quicker & looks more aggressive...but what do magazines know anyway!!...they all rated the E92 M3 & both me & my mrs didn't reckon much to that & it left us both disappointed so you are better off ignoring the reviews & just go for a nice long test drive & make your mind up that way I think.

I have a friend that bought a TTRS after several years of modified 135i ownership. He's had the TTRS under a year, stage 1 MTM but is bored with it already.

If i'd been waiting on the new TT coming out i'd feel cheated seeing that. I'm sure it will drive different being on the new MQB thingy but it's clear that Peter Schreyer was the man with the ideas at Audi. Now he's gone they are just tweaking the old stuff. This and the new A3 are more like facelifts than new models.
