So last weekend we had a go in one of these. Albeit a black car with black leather - bit dreary.
However it drove fantastically and the noise was awesome. Obviously very different from the Zed in that it's more of a nice sounding cruiser than a low slung sports car. However with life moving on a bit from where I was when I got my zed we've decided to go from 3 cars to 2 cars. The 3 series is going at the end of the month and will be replaced by a new C Class Merc.
The Z4 M has gone off to its new home (albeit still on the forum) and I was going to keep my car until next year when we'd sourced/ordered an S5. With a great deal almost complete and Audi's contribution of £6k it was all looking good. However the lead time was going to be anywhere between January 2016 and March 2016.
So we've gone back to the original one we saw and have decided to take the actual car shown below.

The spec is huge on this car as it was ordered for the FD of a dealer in London. It's 6 months old and is only missing a couple of options. The deal was too good to miss. So from Saturday we will be back to 3 cars again so my Z4 will need to go. I will post a separate advert for it in the for sale section and see if anyone is interested.
I'm really excited to get the S5, it's the exact colour combination we wanted with the right wheels and kit.
It's got HDD nav, adaptive cruise, lane assist, smart key, DAB radio, DVD, bluetooth, drive select, LSD, quattro 4 wheel drive, Bang & Olufsen sound system and an acoustic hood.
There will be a new A5 soon but no S5 until 2017 so although it's an ageing model now... I still can't help but like it.
We've saved about £12,000 off the list price and the dealer gave another £795.00 off the price as well.
They've since been hounding us trying to get us to do a PCP which will mean we will pay back closer to the original price so perhaps they've let it go a bit cheaply... Anyway, we're getting it on Saturday.
