Yes, but you'd be a big tit, which is as we know, the best type of tit :)

Going against the grain here and fully expect to get both barrels OG style....but I have always loved the latest looking Audi's. IMO they look the most forward thinking design wise and less ostentatious than BMW or Mercedes who often produce great looking cars but with one or two things not quite right. Audi seem to nail it across the board.

Now if only they could rid themselves of that driver image. You know the one. Where the driver is 3 feet from your silencer with his aggressive looking daylight running lights blinding all your mirrors.

Very interesting... my sister went out to buy a new estate last year- own their own business in a small market town - they walked out of Audi as they found the Miriam of white Audis in the showroom to be too bling for what they were after. I think the new A4 is a return to a more conservative looking car and hopefully they will dial down the LEDs and start building a discreet luxury saloon car. For me the new A4 looks a step I the right direction.

Ink$ - I was set up to be pantomime villain here and I couldn't resist the role!!! :D

Oh don't worry Rob, they'll all get blinged up with the S-line trim levels,or whatever it is Audi use. It looks virtually identical to the last one except grafting that awful new TT front end on it. Oh and it will be rubbish to drive and sell well because we all know everyone likes a nice interior! :)

I agree and an Audi always seems to turn my head and I just love the way they look and they always to me visually appeal, I always tend to look at BMW`s but only because I am a fan boy and not because they are particularly attractive, I wish the two marques could combine so a BMW looks like an Audi but drives like a BMW.

Yes, I never know how to behave … be a prick in an Audi or one in a BMW ;)
...or a tit in a Merc.

hey :x

As for the new A4, it will be better than the old one, great quality interiors and be good as a motorway plodder.

Volvo interesting review. Interior wise they're as dull as unseasoned Gothenburg meatballs though right?

No problem Inkey$..!!

I think the interior of the Volvo is better to look at than the Audi, I am going back to a 10 plate Audi but it didn't take long to feel dated. The V60 is on a 13 plate. Car is black with a black interior, cream roof lining but they have white leather inserts in the R-Design seating which makes it look fresher. I am led to believe that they don't do it as an option anymore though.

My business partner has a grey one with a black interior and that does look a bit boring compared to mine, even he says so.

Although I know the Audi is a better machine mechanically, there is just something about them that turns me off. I doubt I would have another and even after driving an R8 last week, that is off the list too now.

Sorry but I don't like the Audi design approach - one design, A1 on 80% scale, A3 on 90%, A4 on 100%, A6 on 110% or A8 on 120%!
And most of the ones I see are S-Line models covered in LED DRLs for MaxBling!

But Mercedes are doing the same - saw a current E220CDi the other day. Xmas tree LEDs all over the front, irregular shaped twin exhausts in the rear valance but it was an AMG (my a**e)!

Then again BMW are also getting like that - the white 114d M-Sport I had as a courtesy car had similar tyre sizes to my Z4 - but obviously didn't need them given its paucity of power output!

As for Audi driver image, I think low-powered Audis (especially diesels) must come with a special BMW magnet feature that only works within 3 feet of your bumper to try to compensate for their weediness and to maybe help reduce their headline CO2 output!

Easiest way to detach them is to find a fast corner - most Audis reportedly still don't handle terribly well. :)

I've just swapped out my 1.8T A4 Cabriolet of 5 years ownership, for my 23i Z4.
Loved the Audi. But there's really no comparison with the Z4. :driving:
