atlantic highway cornwall

first bit of sun with dry roads for a while so took the m coupe for a blast up the atlantic highway to bude, great fast a rd, speed cam free, long clear straights and curves with a couple of twisty corkscrew sections a bit like laguna seca ( ish ) , cream tea and a mulled wine for the other half in bude so all happy, check this road out before the emmets and their caravans arrive, only downside today was dodging the grit spreading lorries as cold tonite, frustrating when you are following one leaving a big gap so you dont get gravelled and a prat in a vw t5 overtakes you and kicks up all the grit , grrrrr :headbang: , footnote to the day, been flying along in triple digits and daughter phoned from uni in cardiff , she got flashed at 34 in a 30 today, those welsh boyos are hot !!!

I've taken #69 to Cornwall a few times. Looking forward to taking the new car once the weather clears and I can actually collect it!

sounds good, i had an imola z3m ,great colour, you must try the coast rd from st ives to sennen through Zennor and st just, much slower than the atlantic hiway but stunning unspoilt "old" cornwall, roll on spring hey.

I regularly stay nr Padstow, around the Harlyn/Mother Iveys Bay Area. It's a bit nerve wracking when you're trying to avoid being squeezed against a stone wall by a bus or caravanista

It's such an amazing place the North coast, very jealous of you living down there! Would love to drive that 'Laguna Seca' road when it's empty, but I'm only there in the summer when there's no chance...
