Atacama Yellow new guy

Beautiful colour, always loved this  :driving:

Strangely enough, as I've never seen one on the road before, I saw one in this colour this morning on my way to work in Melton Mowbray 8)

LOL  :D Yep that was me, if I'd spotted you sooner I'd of let you out :driving: 8)
Not all that many around these parts, used to be a couple of them in Melton but I've not seen them for a while.

To answer the OP's question, what to look out for? well you have to ditch the whippy (aerial), change to non run-flats and replace the side indicators with the facelift version to be accepted in this forum! (I've done all three due to peer pressure! )

Love the colour, and the alicantra leather interior, although a little too bright for me. When I was in New Zealand recently i hired a bright red SLK, and the rozzers loved that. every police car I drove past would follow. Unfortunately one got me too... c'est la vie!

the 19" wheels you have are at risk of cracking... - otherwise I don't think you have much to worry about...(in my experience)

Enjoy the Z!

James Paul Specialist Cars have just put a reserved note on the Atacama yellow pure impulse edition z4 they had for sale.
If anybody wants to see the interior trim details there are still loads of photos on their web site. If it had a 3.0 motor I would have been down there to upgrade my 23i myself.

Thanks for the reply! Let's hope we can avoid cracking them then.

Here's a quick interior shot, first time I've seen the car in daylight for about a week
