At last, managed to get a 3.0i

Well I managed to find one at last, bought it private, got fed up with traveling half way round the country to dealers to see one in "showroom condition" only to find it's a bag of nails.
It's fairly high mileage, 136,000 but that doesn't worry me, just one stamp missing from service booklet, paintwork in great condition for a 14 year old car, just a couple of very small areas to sort where the lacquer has peeled, hood's in fantastic condition, interior almost spotless, everything works and I got it for a good price.
Fantastic drive from Basingstoke where I picked it up back to Norwich.

It doesn't have the original radio, is that an issue? Does it mean I'm missing out on anything?

Looks well- it’s had a new front end at some point in its life.

Correct, it's on a cat C but once again that doesn't bother me if it's been repaired to a high standard. The price I paid reflected it.

Lovely looking car OP.

I really like having a good drive home when picking up a car - gives you time to enjoy it!

I don't think you are missing much not having the original radio - they're pretty dated now.

Wasn’t a criticism- more an observation as you may not have been aware.

I didn't take it as a criticism :D
How did you know? I checked thoroughly the replaced bumper and drivers wing were all lined up and square and colour matched, what did I miss?

The headlights have black inners 3.0 had silver inners. The grills are black as well and 3.0 has silver grills. Looks a lovely car though.

Didn't notice either of those, just googled some pics, looks better with the silver grills, that might be the first thing I change.
