hi everyone
I'm in the market for a z4 it will be my first...I've had several bmw before but never a z4.
the car I'm looking at needs a new steering column which as far as removal and installation goes is not a problem for myself my problem would be the replacement will be a used part and as such will need to be coded for ignition key, motor and angle sensor none of which I am equipped to deal with.
In the past with other car makes I've needed assistance with a plea on a forum has usually resulted in someone with far superior knowledge than I have and the correct equipment to assist (eg laptop and the correct programs needed for such jobs) who lives nearby and may be prepared to help with the technical side, for a fee of course...I'm hoping there maybe such a person on here....anybody??
