Assetto Corsa car mod?

One for the gamers on here.

Has anyone managed to find a working G29 mod for Assetto Corsa?

Currently I have most (if not all) of the regular DLCs which has the Z4 E89, and the Z4 GT3, but no G29.

I have found one mod, but it crashes my version so i wondered if anyone has a known good version anywhere?

So, for anyone interested ive done some digging, and with the assistance of a mate whos quite into his VR and Sim stuff managed to get one working and its surprisingly good.

You need to grab content manager from here: https://acstuff.ru/app/

Then go to the menu and install from a file and click the downloaded zip file
Then select the car from the list (bmw z4 roof) and do "analyze"
Then you can go to the drive tab, and kick off a driving session and it works great.

Note: You will need to tweak the camera position as the default in-car camera locations are a bit low. Move the mouse to the right-hand menu when in drive mode. Click "onboard settings", and move the camera to your desired location. Then click all the save options.

But, the most hilarious part... the iDrive completely works (all be it an older version of iDrive)

Wave your mouse over it and you can click to enable sat nav, open the radio, backup camera, spotify even controls your windows media and starts playing whatever is in your playlist, even the Youtube app lets you search youtube in real time. I am absolutely gob smacked by the level of detail here, its mad.

So yeah, takes a minute to get it working, and i think the tire grip / downforce settings still need tweaking to be accurate (it seems to let go sooner than i would expect at a given cornering speed), it would be nice if they did it in RHD instead, and it seems the speedo is hard coded for KMH (even if the game is running in MPH), but you cant have everything.

I know this is G29 specific, but just barging in to say in case anyone is looking for a Z4MC Assetto mod, I have been working on one. Found a guy who had put a 3D model on top of the stock E89 physics and sound from Assetto, so I took that as my baseline and I have mostly reconstructed the physics to match that of an E86 and changed the audio files for the right engine. I have even included the capability of changing FD ratios with the usual options. I'll do a video at some point and share the model with others.

There's also a Z4 GTR model that is quite fun.
