Asking Wheel Refurbisher to remove/re-fit wheel and tyre

Hi All

I am planning to use Ashton Powder Coating to refurb my wheels when it is safe to do so.

I see they offer a service where they remove your wheels and tyres, powder coat the wheels, then re-fit everything back together. This is obviously the most convenient way but as I had the Hunters Alignment done recently, will this have to be re-aligned again?

They do say the wheels will be balanced when they are put back on but just wanted to be sure as I'd hate the tramline issue to come back and haunt me again :cry:

No, I'd say any alignment you have had done is safe. Think F1. They don't re-align at the tyre changes!
 
Let them sort out the wheels then take it back to place with the Hunter equipment to get them balanced correctly on the Road Force machine.
