I'm now the owner of a Caterham.

Great news - congratulations

You driving it back home or is it being shipped to you ?

Due to the unpredictable weather this time of year. It will be shipped. Should be in my garage in two weeks. It might have been sooner. But the dentist that is buying the Zed is fully booked with patients until Friday the 15th. So no money will change hands till then.

So I can't post photos just yet.

The Caterham is exceptionally clean. Very well looked after. The 1700 Ford X-Flow engine fired right up and sounded great.

Flew into Stansted this morning. Headed up north to Chorley, Lancashire via the b roads through the peaks district. (Ashbourne, Buxton) will head over to Charnock Richard in the morning to look at the Caterham. Then I will head out towards the Holyhead area for a night at a B&B. Then back track a bit and head to Harrogate for a couple of nights before heading back to Germany on Friday afternoon.

Where you staying in Harrogate, Bigdog?

I will be staying with some friends on Kent road. Just across the street from Woodview. It would be an honor to buy you a pint or a cuppa.
