Arrgh cd changer is broke I think...options

Ok

This time the cd changer cassette will not come out , second time this has happened from what I have read on previous threads after a search it looks like it’s quite common.... and my warrenty does not cover interior trim

Ok what options do I have?

Do you need to replace the unit completely?

or

Are there other options?

On a side note any ideas how to get it out? got 6 of my best cd's :lol: and not copies

Don't risk a second hand one as these units do seem fragile, I removed mine but won't sell it as I don't know if it works, and if it does how long it will last.

Time to upgrade to MP3 connectivity with Dension or Intravee which I'm now really loving with the extra features available.
 
I thought mine was stuck shortly after buying the car. Pressing eject and giving the cassete a jiggle/tug managed to release it for me. Quite a long shot, but worth a try?
 
:lol: just went outside with a knife.... and it pop out ... still be good to look at the options is the cassetts that break or the changers?
 
I am sure mine did this a couple of times and I just left it came back the next day and tried.....boom out it came no bother!
