Armrest USB

Hi. Since I've owned this car I've been meaning to replace this USB/Aux connector. As you can see, the USB port was damaged prior to my ownership.

Does anyone have a part number?

I've found loads that look similar on eBay as it appears Mini etc all use very similar items... but none quite match up with the text/layout. Would that matter? How easy is it to change?

I'm not sure of the part number but I think this should help you remove and replace. Once you have removed it you may be able to find a part number on the USB assembly

I had to do this too, after research I ordered this on eBay and can confirm it's a plug and play 100% fit.
Genuine Used MINI - USB & AUX-IN Socket part no. 9129651

Hope this helps.......

Also replaced mine - any of the BMW/Mini parts will do as far as my research told me (mine is a Mini part).

Don't rip everything apart 😁 if you're replacing the part so don't need the old one, just yank it out with needle nosed pliars (one side in the phono hole, one side in the USB, grip hard, pull hard) and simply connect up and push in the replacement; it is held in place by 2 tabs either side that just click into place.

The non destructive method is to use something sticky (black tack, mastick etc) on the front and pull - requires a degree of luck though. Same as for wheel center caps.
