After doing one or two "driving experiences" they are usually pretty awful. I decided to do the atom how fast day at bedford. It was great fun, you drive a proper car no restrictions, encouraged to go fastest you can. You have 2 x 20 mins practice sessions and then the timed laps start. You only get 2 hot laps to set your best time. Its quite nerve racking and is representative of motor sport where you have to turn it on when needed.
In the same session someone brought their mclaren 675 along! It was lapping in the 1:20s! Faster than any atom previous time. i can see where the 250,000 quid goes. Incredible.
Overall at 300 quid including use of their car its good value. I am defo up for going again to beat my best time of the day set in practice 2 of 1.27.7. The times for previous days are listed on their website so you can judge yourself against others not just in your seasion.
