I did something stupid and and lost concentration for a second, swerved the zed whilst driving along a narrow stone lane and scraped the front side bumper against the stones. They're quite deep almost gouging but probably not as bad as they're making me feel. :headbang: :headbang:

Don't know whether it's likely to need a replacement or can be fixed in some way? I'm really disappointed and upset.

Any ideas whether I need to go to a bodyshop or somewhere else? Anyone recommend a trustworthy place in between London and Gloucester? Or perhaps near glasgow?

Thanks in advance.

Vanilla,

No advice from me, but fell for you and hope you get it sorted soon and without too much of a dent to the wallet.

Ah, love is in the air!

Try Dingmaster in Swindon, they've been brilliant when I've used them and colleagues have also had good results. Recent example, a woman reversed into a friends Ford Ka and her towbar punched a hole in the front bumper. £200 later and plastic welded and painted to invisible repair standard

London, Gloucester or Glasgow. Crikey ur casting your net wide. :dizzy:

Hope you get it sorted as cheap as possible

Thanks guys, I've noticed it's knocked the bumper slightly out of place too, probably damaged one of the clips. :( so so upset and feeling poor. Going to have to push the wheel refurb back as have MOT coming up in two months and need winter tyres too.

Put a pic up.

Most often then not it looks worse then it is.... A smart repair could disguise, unless closely inspected... Which being low is unlikely.

My bumper was cracked and split after i hit a curb... But £250 later it was plastic welded and resprayed... So not the end of the world.

Probably best to get some pictures up of it...

they may be able to come out with some wet sanding, although there isn't much paint on the bumpers of the zeds...
