Argh! fugging Dealers

 An Englishman Abroad.
The Zed was in today for an Insp 2.
Went to pick it up and the Receptionist handed me the bill "That will £406.85 please sir"
"That's not what I was quoted" says I as I hand her the card which the Service Manger had written a price on, Don't know why I kept it or even had it on me.
End result Insp 2 for £339.01.
While she was amending the bill the Service Manager took me outside to show me my Zed "We are very sorry, but the Technician thought he heard a scape as he was getting the car off the ramp"
He's managed to catch on of the fangs.
Anyway they have admitted responsibilty and will reapir when I can leave it with them for a day.

So £70 odd quid the service bill and now bodywork repairs not a good day for them :P
 
The difference in prices looks like just the VAT, think that was lucky getting them to knock it off.
 
Sounds like a good dealership to me... no mention of any argument & upfront. It's a bit of aggro I know but just as it should be.

Not in sunny Scotland, we get the 2nd January off.
