Me and the wife went to see the Arenecross event at the LG Arena Birmingham on Saturday. First time I've been to one of these. I was impressed! 8)
As an event it was well paced with hardly any "down time".
The freestyle guys are both very skilled and very mental!! One Spanish guy did a 360deg back flip as as he went over he got off the bike holding the bars and he and the bike went different ways, got back on and still landed it perfectly!! And he was only 15!!!
Took the camera. Challenging lighting conditions but got a few reasonable pics (I need a faster camera/lens combo!). Processed them in B&W.
Kids races also. They were impressive!
