A lot of people on here have had the dreaded interior leak due to the door membrane coming loose.
I changed mine during the week and so far so good, no leaks or damp smell after heavy rainfall.
But, it doesn't stop the water getting into the door in the first place! From what I could see when I done a hosepipe test, the water appeared to be coming through around the wing mirror baseplate area.
Is this normal? Or should the water not be allowed to get in there? I can't seem to find a definitive answer.
On another forum I use, some people were assured that I need to stop the source of the leak as it will only lead to more problems and a door full of water.
