Are these mods sensible? Quick response needed

polypushes are not as "Forgiving" as normal/oem rubbers but they last much longer/don't wear like oem bushes do. But as the guy above says, he couldn't tell any difference so it's fine.Update... Car definitely started Silver...

For what it's worth, if I had £5.5k to spend on a Zed I'd be hurrying along to see this one. Sepang Bronze would have been a "bold choice" when these cars were new, but I have yet to see one that I haven't drooled over and I know that I am not alone. (Sorry if there's drool on the one you're talking about!.)
If memory serves, it left the factory as silver, it was stripped down and resprayed, think the wings were replaced as the originals had rusted inside. I was going to look at this one when it was up for sale on here but bought my smg instead. There is a thread on here covering the rebuild. Look in the forsale section on the forum it will still be there i am sure.

The only thing that would put me off looking at this car is the fore-mentioned spring issue which is a quick easy fix, especially if the owner has the eibachs for the front. I have to admit the whole Bronze thing isn't for me. Most of the Sterling Grey's I've seen in the flesh/on the road etc, that I presume are a little un-cared for always look like they're bronze to me anyway. Surely I'm not alone in thinking this.

I'd be more concerned with mileage and the condition of the engine (I don't mean how shiny it is!) and it having a solid service history No rust and not tatty inside or out.
All the other mods are easy to to change. The backbox probably being the most hassle depending on what kind of backbox delete it's had. If the box is still there it's gonna be cheaper to weld baffles back in. If the backbox has indeed been 'deleted' removed, then a new back box/exhaust system would be more expensive.
Bushes, springs, shocks, struts, bells and whistle are all down to personal taste, but again some of these items can start to add up.
To be fair he has sent me through some photos of the respraying process. Looked like a very professional Job and would have cost a fair bit.
He has someone going to view Saturday and I can't make it before then.
We have raised our budget by a grand which has brought in a few more cars to view.

Looking through that thread it does look to have been well done. If the
Bronze is the only colour you want then this car is about your only option pre facelift as if wasn't an option till the later cars and they will cost a shed load more as and when they actually come up for sale. If I was in this situation I would make a few compromises on stuff that's easy to fix to get the colour I want. The real question is after doing all this why sell. I know he states in the ad some special has come along but its Buyer beware and all that.

Unfortunately it doesn't have some features that I wanted, but the car is excellent bodywork and interior.
Just 49,000 miles with all stamps in the book.
I will be looking to try to retrofit some features.
