Are Struts and Shocks different on Z4 M -Vs- no M?

Can anyone confirm if the front struts on the Z4 M Roadster are the same as the 3.0i and 3.0si?
Looking at Pelican Parts it shows, Part number 22-164575-INT iis the correct replacement for my 2006 Z4 M Roadster. It also shows the fitment for the part to also be for the 3.0i and 3.0si.
I just want to make sure I order the correct part.
I want the factiry ride for my M. At $141.00 each, the price is good.
It would make sense to me if they were the same, I assume the springs are different but I could see the shock damping could be the same.
Pelican also shows two different rear Shocks. I called their support and was told that thier part Number 19-158983-INT was the OEM M shock replacement ($103.00 each). I asked about their part number 24-104937-INT ($134.00 each) and was told that it was slightly stiffer than the OEM.
Again, just trying to get correct replacements for the original M ride.
Hopefully $488 (2x$141 fronts + 2x $103 rears) for everything is what i'm looking for.

Struts for sure... Z4M is more like the E36 strut design, and non-M is more like an E46

The E85 is listed with three different part numbers for its front struts, one for SE, second for Msport and the third is for M so they are all different. How they are different I couldn't say.

SE and M-Sport are interchangeable but M-Sport have different damping rates with SE being softer. M is not compatible as the hubs are different.

OP - The parts that you've listed are Bilstein B4, which are for non-M. Bilstein doesn't make a B4 for the M. Bilstein B6 is your only option for the M or go with their B16 (PSS10) coilover. Here are the proper struts/shocks for the M Roadster/Coupe:

I think it's going to be a lot more than what you anticipated I also thought $838 or so for dampers wasn't too bad until you factor in all the hardware that goes along with it (top hats, bearings, bumpstops, rear shock mounts, etc.) - it all adds up! You may want to factor in another $800 or so for all the hardware. I just did this update recently and parts alone were around $1700...so Bring Your Wallet!

Here are all the parts that I ordered. You can substitute BMW OE or aftermarket as you see fit - I chose to use as much BMW OE as possible whenever available. Note that the front bump stop and dust boot is no longer required as the Bilstein B6 struts have its own internal bump stop and come with its own dust boot. You don't have to buy everything that I had listed here and can reuse anything you see fit. I just chose to replace all these hardware since it's a 16-year-old car and I don't want to go back in to work on it twice.

Note on Optional Reinforcement Plate for front strut tower - 51717036781 (2x) no Z4 specific, so need to use e46. I did not end up using this since I already have a Strong Strut tower brace. Most people want to do this reinforcement to prevent the front strut tower from "mushrooming" over time.

My installer sourced everything for me, with a few exception such as the rear reinforcement plates, which I've sourced from FCP Euro. But I've checked prior that all can be sourced from either ECS Tuning or FCP Euro.
