Are heated seats a must?

I'm looking for a 3 litre zed, seen a few that I've liked but not found the one yet. One that caught my eye has no heated seats, I was under the impression all roadsters had them, I cant imagine not having them, anyone out there not got them? How essential are they?

They were an option unfortunately. If you are going to drive the car all year round, and put the roof down as much as possible, then they are pretty much a 'must have' in my opinion - I wouldn't buy a roadster without them.

hello mate
mine did not have them but i put some in which is easy to do if your car is pre face lift between 2003 2004 cut off point seems to be october 2004 then they stopped putting the wiring in for them.
cheers daz

That's what I was thinking, gutted this car hasn't got them.
Can't wait to get the roof down on a sunny sunday winters morning.

I've got them but to be honest they aren't essential (I just use them as a gimmick to surprise unexpecting passengers). Never needed them in any other convertible I've owned. The cabin is so small and the engine heat up so quick I wouldn't miss them. Your call though :)

I hate the feeling of electric seats and have never, ever used mine.

My wife, on the other hand, loves them and wouldn't buy a car without them.

To me they are essential and I wouldn't have bought my Zed without them as on a crisp winter day they are just superb so be patient and wait until you find one with them.

As above they are essential even if you don't plan to use. They will make the car a lot easier to sell on.

I use them on the odd occasion, but the wife has hers on all the time, sometimes even in summer!

Infact its almost like her start buttom, she gets in and cranks them to 3!
