Are E85 prices rising?

While having nothing better to do at the moment and before I start shelling lots of money, I thought I'd take a quick look on Autotrader and the BMW AUC websites at the prices of used 3.0Si roadsters, the M is out as I need the boot space and the same with the E89, for a 2008 Zed with what was really quite a basic spec they were asking in excess of 20K :o . 2006 cars were generally around 16 - 17K mark but I can't really see the point in paying an extra 8K to get a car 2 years newer than my current Zed and with the same mileage.

I have not looked at prices for a long time but it did make me wonder if they are starting to firm up a bit.

Anyway IMO the upshot is with the amount it would it cost to make the change worthwhile it is not worth it, so it's looking more and more likely I'm definately playing with mine in the New Year. 8)

E85 Alpina?

Hadn't actually thought of them you swine :headbang: , but would I be right in thinking they would only be available pre-facelift in which case rightly or wrongly I would rule it out as if I do change rather than start modifying I would be looking for a newer Zed.
