approx value

I have a 56 plate z4 2ltr SE with 48k miles. Fsh some outwith bmw..18's alloys
It's mint condition ...just wondered what an approx value is.
Would like to add some cash to it and trade up to 2.5 or 3.0

Its a nice looking car, facelift model and in a popular colour. However, the 2.0 isnt the most favourite of engines compared to the 6 pot 2.2, 2.5 or 3.0's so that would go against it.

Its dificult to value it without close up pictures and full details of the paint and wheel comdition, etc, but probably around the £6k - £7k mark, I would guess. However,, that will always vary in opinion whether you are the seller or the buyer ! A good 3.0 Si Roady will cost you around the £9k mark.

You've got to look on Ebay, Auto Trader or Pistonheads for similar spec and condition and gauge it against those prices really.

Thanks for that mate. Yes this is my car. I have added a set of refurbished 18" elipsoids which look great.
I guess I could go to 6k. I love this style of car just feel I'd like a 6 pot

Your'e not the first to follow the trade up within months path & the 6 cylinder is a great idea imo
The 2.0 market is a tough one as there are so many for sale
Iirc you paid a very good price for a lowish mile car :wink: so use that as a start point , it certainly looks the part on the 18s but i wouldn't list it much over £6k , £6250classified ad on ebay will test the water for 2 weeks , if no response then drop to £5850 ? Figures are only a guide

Echoing Mr Wilks, it looks like you need to aim for £6k Private, and £7k would be the forecourt price.

ive toyed with the idea of upgrading mine, but i just couldn't part with the Alpine white for any other colour. and the chances of me finding a bigger engined alpine white in as good condition as mine is very slim (not to mention very, very expensive)

out of curiosity, what would mine be worth do ya think? 2008, 60k miles

ive spent a little on it since ive had it so interested to see what the rough market value is?

at 1st i loved the increase in power (1st car was a 1.2 Corsa C hahaha) but now im used to it i want more, but ive gone to far on modding her so far i cant really sell her and start again with a bigger engine, wish i got a bigger engine straight away like yourself as im past the change over point now :/

exterior just the //M bumpers and Aero skirts atm still plenty of ideas running throught my head tho.... all depends if my wallet can keep up
