Approved Used Car and servicing

I'm still not 100% on this. My car has 1 year left of the warranty from when it was bought second hand from BMW. Must I get the servicing (Oil, Inspection I and II) doen with BMW or can I use an indie? In South Wales I planned on using Autotech but want to ensure my warranty stays valid.

With the AUC warranty you need to get it done by BMW. When the old owner purchased it, did he get 2 years cover? Once a year BMW dealers have been doing a four day weekend where you get two years warranty instead of one.
