The end of World War 1 was commemorated and both World Wars were remembered on Sunday. From some comments on this forum all that meant nothing more than 'what a political party leader wore.' He was not disrespectful, was solemn, and acted professionally. He is an easy target, as all people are in the 'public eye.' I have not read or heard any other remarks about the man's coat anywhere other than here. Remembering should bring thoughts of 'let's do all we can to never, ever let it happen again.' Some of the angry words here, were worrying.

Nothing to do with politics whatsoever, and as for actually turning up and standing respectful, what the hell else is expected apart from dressing appropriately..???? He’s not an untrained chimpanzee....or are we to be grateful for him being there and behaving now...??

The guy was wearing a black suit with the possibly the wrong coat for the occasion.. its hardly the crime of the century regardless of his job.. honestly, the uproar people are making just makes me think thay have nothing better to do, just using it as an excuse to spill some bile
