Applying Raggtopp Protectant

Never have done this and was wondering what everyone else does when applying the spray.Do you mask the windows and cover the paintwork etc or does the overspray etc. wash off? Don't want to make a mess that is hard to clean up . Any advice appreciated.

Some people mask off the windows and paintwork, personally I don't. I try to get as little overspray as possible but what does go on there I wipe off quickly with a cloth and then use quick detailer and a microfibre to clean up.

i sprayed the main middle area and then i used soft pastry brush lol to apply the liquid around the window edges etc

Well I opted to do the masking thing, avoided any cleanup but took some time to cover everything that needed covered. Wanted to do several coats and wait between to let dry so didn't want to have to wipe between coats etc. One site I checked had a couple of good suggestions re covering up windows, they may be common sense but the suggestion was to open the top slightly and place a sheet of plastic over the windshield and hood then close the top. Same with the side windows. Worked very well. Thanx for your input.

Good idea. I do the reverse if I need to carry any bloody carcasses in the car to the woods and such. Never thought of using it the other way. Thanks!
