So, following Ruby's choc thread.....
I made an Apple Pie tonight, what do you have with yours? Ice cream, custard, cream??

Me, if its hot then ice cream, if its cold then hot custard.

Has anyone had the Mr Kiplings exceedingly good apple pies with the inbuilt custard? I thought they were ok.

inbuilt custard..

you make it sound like they're knocked out on a machine..i thought they were hand made!

they aren't too bad, mid bike ride, 6 at a go..

If it's a good hot apple pie straight out the oven, with a thin soft layer of pastry covered by a fine sugar crust, deep filled with juicy sweet apples cooked so they're super fluffy though still hold their shape...


When it's this good... you don't need all that extra dressing to make up for what's lacking in some pies, so I like it bare & naked... yummie

Now you are talking! My favourite dessert of all time. I have to say the Pizza Express cheesecake is very nice.

I love the top of cheesecakes but don't like the base so I scrape it off!
