The problem with the fingerprint stuff is (our) enterprise exchange systems still require a pin to be transferred and not a fingerprint key... at our place we certainly will still need to have a pin code.

Also i sometimes use my finger to unlock the phone when its on my desk (i.e when not holding my phone) instead of my thumb... which would mean using the flat part of my finger to a) trigger the metal ring switch and b) to have a print for it to read.

Another issue with the finger print is in winter with gloves (the ones which can work with touch screens)

And finally (a comical one at first - but really quite serious) Say and accident happens in a factory- person loses fingers... reaches for phone to call for help.. then the double wammy. cant use your phone!!

I like the idea.. but i see this as being another siri.. limited use a bit of a gimmick.

Has anyone used the iphone 5 connector with an intravee? I'm tempted to go all out and get the 64gb 5s if i can connect it to my car for musac.

But if/ when i get a new company handset i will no doubt not be able to use this so called killer new feature.

The device is an enterprise class so there will be a work around im sure.

If anything it should be better because there wont be any need to constantly change codes for security?

I actually change my pin to be the same as the old one every 60 days :lol:

Running the new ios now.. and just noticed it now has iworks and ilife if only i had bought iphoto last year could have that free too

I've been talking UK Handsets, actual phones not operating systems.

Yes lots of phones with Android sell big numbers world wide, the majority are lower spec cheaper phones tho. Obviously only the iPhone uses ISO there for it trails the others in sales, but in the Uk the iPhone was the best selling 'phone'.

Personally having used both android and various ISO's I wouldn't give up my iPhone in a hurry even if the new iPhone was not popular.
As its been said here by others, "it just works", it makes scenes! It integrates perfectly with my iMac and my iPad, my clock radio, our home stereo, my Xbox. I can FaceTime my wife & family most days (for FREE), its got the most App's, it works seamlessly with my iTunes that I've had for 10years now, over 30gig of music alone (not including films).

There really is NO alternative with out compromise.

I didn't want to mention that as I thought that, if I suggested that Apple's autocorrect won't accept the 'word' iOS, it might be construed as Apple-bashing... :wink:
