Appalling article...

Cheers.
Yup very much the modern day media we have all learned to detest.
Far be it from me to dare to judge another human, but some people just encourage it.
Namely mindless vandals and brainless idiots posing as reporters.
Get on their soapbox, shout loudly, then block their ears and run.
If she doesn't want a conversation about her articles, maybe she should stick to a blog.

Haha thanks John-e89

I had a reply....

"Thank you for your email, from the Information that you have provide this does not constitute a crime."

Perhaps she should drag her key along the side of a Police Scooby, while we all look on for the aftermath...

Fear not all. The one thing we can rely on has had its say. Karma or irony, not sure which one it was. But dear Catriona Stewart has recently tweeted this...

Come out of Sainsburys in time to see a girl reverse into my car. Points at damage, "Is that alright, yeah?" No. Not alright.

I believe the phrase I am looking for is LMFAO

Maybe since this event she has formed her hatred for other car drivers. This was June by the way.

Welcome Snazy. I loved your reply, clearly.

Touched on many of the points discussed on here and with others I've spoken with offline. I really hope you get a response to it. The opening paragraph just cracked me up

Cheers Angie.

A little sarcasm goes a long way I find. Didn't want it coming across too seriously, while at the same time there was a point to be made.
Cheers for finding and sharing.

Her attitude really does ooze pretentious arsehole. Precious little economic loony, wrapped up in her dream filled fantasy world.

I was hoping for a reply but not holding my breath.

Not a problem. I actually found it whilst reading some of the tweets and clicked your link.

Definitely much better than bombarding her with tweets.

Strange article for her to write, especially as on the same day it was published the Ingliston Revival was all over the Scottish News as it has been 20 years since it has taken place.

It was full of those 'performance cars' from some Glasgow dealerships where I believe the Herald is based and enthusiasts who have not taken kindly to her article.

There will have to be a response to the initial article, hopefully you will also get something but after reading the 'Editors' comments and the fact they've 'edited' both the artical and headline your right not to be holding your breath for it.

Nice one Snazy. Great appraisal.

The fact that you've had no reply speaks for itself, she must be feeling pretty stupid.

Nice that the comments section on that article is disabled: "Comments are closed on this article."

Yup, meanwhile the editor says he doesn't share her views or agree with her... However he published it because .. He advocates free speech. Hmmm

Appears my comments to her on Twitter are also disabled now. Lol
I am now officially blocked from her Twitter. Guess that's the answer I was looking for.

the editor

Is that Richard Walker by any chance?

So often its a race to the bottom in this country. Why folk can not be inspired to rise to challenges rather than putting others down all the time.

Reminds me of the Top Gear add

Not sure on the name to be honest, just uses the twitter name @Herald_Editor

Hackney police have responded to the piece with a simple "Wow, speechless"

"It didn't happen on my watch" says editor.

You're the editor. It's always your watch mate.

Kind of lame, wasn't me, response you expect these days really.
I don't understand if no one at the paper likes it or agrees with its and there is clear outrage at it, why it's still there.

That said, the clicks pay the bills, so any attention is good attention.

I work for a similar style newspaper and this is disgusting.

I don't know about boy racers in Fiat 500s have to ask Rob and Paul
