Years ago I was sitting in my car in a supermarket carpark when a woman and her daughter turned up, put their bags on the bonnet of my car while opening their boot. When I let them know I was not pleased  they looked at the reg plate and said its only an L reg car. WHAT? :o

What a tw@!!! I'd have driven off with all her shopping still on there would have taught her not to do it again

Me too

Absolutely appalling! I've just returned from Ingliston Revival which had a varied array of cars there, even a Ford Focus which had 1000bhp and had £350k, that's not a mistype, spent on it but you wouldn't know it.

I've not only read her artical, I've also read her Twitter where she is now banging on about people buying £100k cars when people are using food banks is so wrong. Okay I don't have a £100k car but I've worked very hard for what I have.

I could have bought a second hand Aston for £30/£35k but someone just sees that it's an Aston and keys it because it's such a fancy, expensive car. Wtf?

Editor doesn't seem to know what to say on this one. I believe that many an email has been sent to the editor by folks from Pistonheads etc so we will see where this one goes.

Even worse is that many a 'performance' car has been damaged by keying and slashing of tyres on Edinburghs George Street......only good thing is the idiots that have done these things possibly don't read anything more than the Sport, Star, Sun or Daily Record and that's assuming they can read.

No boy racers in a Fiat 500? She has not heard about the Abarth 500 then ;)

Funny that's exactly what I said to mike when I read it. In fact I may take a video of the complete tool round the corner that drives one like a complete idiot and post her a link on Twitter........we will soon see her defending him I'm sure.

She's quite (sexy) (edited for political correctness) (Attractive :) ), I wouldn't mind giving her a ride in my car just to show her how slow it can go  :driving:

Excellent find indeed

And as we are generalising here, Jimbo - that was a blatant attempt to increase your post count which is a typical action by a middle class E89 driver

I believe the original artical she didn't say 'performance cars' but 'Audi's' .........been watching a bit too much top gear I think

Glad a few of you like the little hit back I wrote. Both her and the editor are aware of the piece, but yet to get a response. Not expecting one to be honest.
I did however get copied in on a rather humorous Twitter back and forth, where the editor says he does NOT agree with her view, however advocates free speech.
Ironic then that he had just had comments on her piece turned off, and all previous comments removed. Freedom of speech my arse!

If I do get anything back I will be sure to publish it, just for giggles if nothing else.
In the meantime it will be interesting to see what the owner of the Aston thinks about her judgement on his character.

Welcome aboard, this is indeed the typical response of one-sided freedom of speech.
