Well guys, I must apologise for not being on in months and months!!

I purchased my Z4 roadster in July last year, and come October................my wife was expecting twins!!

3 kids and 2 seats doesnt go so the Z4 had to go Im afraid :( :( :cry: :cry:

In its place came a brand new VW scirocco 2 litre turbo. A lovely motor, and after spending a few ££££££££££££'s at the german tuning company SPORTEC I had a rather tasty 264 bhp and 405 nm of torque.

Sad to see the auld Z4 go but I must say I love the roc......................

BTW I am now helping run www.scirocconet.co.uk we have over 3,000 members in 78 countries so you can imagine thats taking a fair bit of my time!! :roll:
 
Welcome back!

That is a nice looking motor. I have seen a few in the flesh and I do find my head turning slightly, it's a brave move by VW and I think I like it!

... and I know what you mean by forums taking up time... ;)

Cheers matey!! :wink: got the newsletter and thought I would drop in! As I mentioned Ive been running the roc site and I know its a thankless task. Must say the new forum skin looks the biz :thumbsup: well done
 
nice, not sure about the stripe on the side, but an awesome lookign machine. My brother works for VW and has told me numerous times how good they are, and the fact that they cant get enough to supply the demand...must be good.
 
Don't usually like Volkswagens...but that looks really mean!
But like usual...we don't get any good cars in America! :D
 
You have made it the car that VW should have had the balls to release, I do like them they have really grown me since I first them but I would a really want a cooking version not a lukewarm one.
 
I was looking at a Roc when they first came out (I've owned a Corrado for 7 years), and am a member of Scirocconet ;)

I couldn't justify the price of buying new in the end though, but I love the look, especially the Candy White ones 8)
