So, stoopid question of the day...

What is "all purpose cleaner" and why do you use it.

So, I've heard about it loads and seen it on youtube vids etc, but never really understood what it actually is?

Now I've seen it on sale in Halfrauds, Megs etc labelled as all purpose cleaner, but what is it good at, and what would the alternatives be?

It's a cleaner for all purposes.
You use it to clean for different or all purposes.
You're welcome.

Bilt Hamber APC is all you need to get
Use it everywhere in the car, such as round lights, panels with a small brush. I even used on my wheels today, as long as its not too contaminated.
Oh and great for UPVC cleaning too :D

Love this stuff, for cleaning I use it on leather seats as well as everything else mentioned inside the car. The only things I can think of I don't use it on are the clear plastic instrument clusters and LCD screens. Your best buying a big 4/5 litre bottle and diluting it yourself to about 1 in 10 and certainly no less than 1:4 at the most. It works out much cheaper in the long run than buying the premixed stuff.

So its like a detergent, but for cars?

So I would currently use interior quick detail spray for dash etc....apc would replace that?

Door jams?

Not just cars. As the product says “All purpose cleaner” hence why you can pick some up at Tesco.
