AP Racing Kit + Standard Z4M Wheels

Not sure exactly but if they're anything like my Stoptechs you'll probably need spacers for the fronts...
 
Thats what i was thinking it would be tight on the front, i know the kit fits on a standard E46 M3 with the original 18's.

Hmmm... then it might very well fit our stock wheels too. At the end of the day spacers are pretty cheap. I think you should get the brakes and if they dont fit then buy the spacers.
 
12.5mm, these ones http://www.turnermotorsport.com/p-120-bmw-5-lug-125-mm-wheel-spacers-pair-most-bmws-see-applications.aspx I think 12mm would be the bare minimum for this kit, it has about 3-3.5mm space from the spokes as it is.

There are 2 types of AP kits for the Z4m. One requires spacers the other doesn't.

I have the kit that doesn't require them. Just make sure the calliper code is CP5575, it should be printed the calliper too, and you wont need spacers.

If you are looking for it the code is laser etched on the "underside" of the caliper - I.e. the face pointing at the disc bell, which you cannot see without removing the caliper ... Obviously if the calipers aren't fitted it'll be easier to check.
 
Hi, I have been asked this before, and I checked with AP. They said that if you are using the Formula kit then you need different brackets and bells to give sufficient clearance. I am not saying the M3 kit will not fit directly, it is what AP told me! I have not tried it on my car yet, as the brakes seem to be holding up OK on track, at the moment!
The necessary parts can be ordered from any AP agent, IIRC

They won't fit :-(

I have the full fat kit and had to space my wheels signifantly... Luckily , the added track is desirable at my excessive camber levels .....
