2.0i sports 2007, 39000. owned for four years.changed both rear coil springs broken also faulty abs /dsc unit .not bad for low mileage top of the range car.can anyone predict the next repair?

serviced reguarly, changed springs at 26,000.easy job but should not happen, bmw in denial of any problems.regarding manifold can you tell us more

Dont let the faults put you off,if you buy a high end car you will always be taking more notice of any niggles or faults.
Go on any car specific forum and there will be a long line of threads about common faults or problems.
At least if you expect some known issues you know what they are when they occur,instead of trouble shooting blindly,
Enjoy your car ,you can be lucky or unlucky with any vehicle,knowing the faults also gives you chance to do preventative medicine.
Here we go again!, broken weld on cat, new cat or try to weld?
Been on once but took it off with code scanner,not on since. car running fine, the weld is cracked very finely (for now).but i noticed diff noise, and thats what i foundandysat said:
No- No, not worried!, nothing i cannot sort. just pi---d off having to.
Air line crack on the exhaust manifold which is attached to the cats, welded up and alls fine. running a dream.
Thats true," better the devil you know," its a lovely car, a great to drive.may upgrade to a newer z4 but will do a lot more research b4 i buy!
