anyone with fedex experience??

guys im expecting a package from norway , now im getting annoyed with fedex as my package has just landed in Hong kong.... WTF????? As the the uk and norway really arn't that far why the devil has my package gone to lantau island?
just wondering if anyone who uses fedex can help me understand whats going on Do they send all packages their to ship out to the different countries?? if anyone could help id appreciate it what a bunch of knob heads

I was once a contractor at fedex. On the express side there are certain hubs that will process packages from within certain areas. I.E. In the USA there is only one hub. And that is in Memphis. So if I send a letter from Spokane Washington to San Francisco it goes to Memphis Tn. first. Seems odd, But it works.

You never stated if your package is late. Or if you just happened to see the truly odd routing on the tracking page. Fedex processes over 3 million express packages a day. sometimes, Packages do get sent to the wrong hub. As the saying goes. s**t happens. Generally, they do a great job. Once it is classified as late give them a call.
