Can anyone recommend the best products (to a new owner) to wash the Z4 with. My previous car was an old vw golf which was lucky to see the car wash occasionally. I'd like to make more effort now. I went to Halfords and there was a big choice so I bought nothing. I don't have any fancy equipment just a hose and bucket.

Many zedders have there favourite products & routines whilst others are totally meticulous with the process of car detailing .
I would put myself in the middle somewhere
The 3 products ive found suit me best for ease of application & standard of finish / protection are
Autoglym super resin polish . / use first as this removes contaminants from paintwork & isn't a wax or sealant ( can remove with machine or hand)

thought i'd give the zed a clean inside & out, only a quick job but looks better than before i started.

it's not bad but there are a lot of stone chips on the front which need sorting. was going to get it mopped when the weather gets better. my sons mate works at a ferrari & maserati dealer in the new forest and that's his job so should be good.

Finally a dry day so it was out with the bucket and sponge and some of Meguiars finest cleaning products kindly left under the Christmas tree by Santa Must enjoy it while it lasts more rain on the way.

Also got round to fitting the graphite kidney grills purchased a few weeks ago.
