Anyone wash the Zed today?

Utterly fed up of this miserable weather but I thought its not going to stop me giving the Z3 a wash today :) , so howling a gale and in the driving rain I stood up wind and watched the snowfoam go over the Zed and settle nicely onto next doors VW Beetle :D Eventially managed to get the Zed foamed and washed and under cover for a drying off and engine polish :)



Miss using the Z4 at the mo but the Z3 is still a fine substitute :)

That engine looks brand new! I've just been studying it to find a splat or a splodge of something.

Definitely no washing here - in this weather? I admire your resilience though, but nope, it's crap telly and a cup of tea for me. :)
 
Nah . Z garaged up while i went for a wander

Its probably a bit of an optical illusion lol, the Z4 is in the garage couped up for winter, the Z3 is under the car port between the houses :)

:rofl: cheers, its still looking clean for a 2001 model and still has just over 24K on the clock so hasn't really had a hard life :D

I haven't cleaned my zed since the end of October and its minging inside and out, and do you know what? I couldn't care less. Means I don't have to worry about driving in this crap weather and getting it dirty.

Mine was disgusting so I washed it yesterday. Everything and everywhere is absolutely sodden anyway, so even cleaning the MV2s was relatively uneventful. Quite pleased to see that the quick detail the dealer did is holding up ok - all the grime came off very easily.

That's a car in lovely condition.

I will get to see mine for the first time in a week tomorrow - not sure when I will get a chance to wash it though :(

Well I saw a 2004 2.5l Z4 listed on e-bay yesterday with 33K showing for £7495, I was seriously considering trading the Z3 in maybe against it but just looked again on e-bay and looks like its been sold :(

Fantastic work !! I wanted to clean mine today but the weather was just to bad here :-( hopefully it will be better tomorrow.
 
haha you guys are funny and a little bit crazy washing in this weather

i just pay a fiver and have mine snow foamed, hand washed, dried, tyre shined and a free air freshener at my local car wash whilst i sit inside it all toastie..... once a week and it looks good enough for me :D
