Anyone want to swap a clean E46 M3 for Z4M/Z4M C

With the current sound system you have I don't think Logic7 will match up and you'll probably end up going aftermarket again, so I wouldn't personally put that in the 'must' section.

Thanks for that info, is it fairly easy to upgrade the Professional 10-Speaker system? I have been offered a car that has that setup.

I doubted those figures, but here is me myself getting close to 34mpg!

It was on a run down to Folkestone and it was just 93 miles miles (probably 90 motorway miles, 3 in town) and I got 33.61mpg!

With just long runs and driving 70ish 33+mpg is possible it seems!

What app is this Markos? (apologies for taking off thread slightly - reminder to anybody looking to swap that Sharkmans M3 looks the absolute business!)

inkey$, it's called Road Trip. You can get a 'lite' version but I paid and got the full version, I'm really pleased with it and it's been perfect since '09 when I got it

Cheers, just bought it too

why would someone buying a z4m/m3/m5 worry if it did 22.6/24.2/25.3/26.3 or whatever mpg. i thought it was a performance car not a diesel family car. just fill it up and put your foot down and have some fun before we all end up driving around in poxy electric cars.....

Stats are always interesting. Also watching the fuel consumption on a car is a great gauge on how well things are running - so long as you know to make slight allowances for the cold / hot weather.

sharkman07, lovely M3, good luck with you search

Spooky or what. About 3 months ago I swapped my immaculate 55 plate M3 for my son's 3.0 Z4 soft-top. The best thing ever! The M3 was, of course, faster but the Z4 is certainly more fun, especially with the roof down and the heater on (in this weather of course!) :D

Update, after a great weekend of driving in the M3, I now suspect I'm going to keep it and save the cash... it really is running like a dream and I'm not sure spending more would give me a much better experience to be honest..opinion may change when the weather improves though and I see a Z4M Roadster drive past.. :driving:

A silver E46 M3 blasted past me today when I was out in the missus' 3 series convert. The noise was wonderful :)

Just for a moment I thought I'd love that engine...then I remembered I had one in the Z4.

Your car looks lovely. I don't blame you if you decide to keep it.

I had a friend over from Italy. She's not really a car chick but she loved the M3 and thought it was very very nice (and it's always important to keep female passengers happy for an easy life :D ).

I'll probably run the ad for a few more weeks but if I dont sell will then plan to get the stone chips done and maybe treat the car to a sports exhaust for the new year. Thanks for the opinions and advice on here guys. I'm sure at some point I will end up in a Z.
