Anyone using a Foxwell NT301?

Just wondering if this has the right spec to open the boot when the roof is partially open/closed?

I have heard that Foxwell can do same but not whether it is only certain models of Foxwell

NT301 seems to be the most basic so I'm guessing not

I have an Foxwell NT530. I've not used it specifically for this, but I am pretty sure the option is there... they do have a lot of different versions though! I'd asked them directly to answer your question. note that despite it looking like its a European operation, its all handled via China, even customer "support". if indeed you can call it that. its been a mixed bag for me!

You need something advertised as having bi-directional controls - a basic code scanner only reads.

Not sure about which foxwells can / can't, but this without being advertised as bi-directional there is no chance.

Tends to be the step up from the cheapest, but bi-di will always be mentioned as it is a big deal.

Under £100 you are almost certainly looking at read only (hence no boot operation).
