Looks like an easy solution that doesn't cost much and would return reasonable stereo quality music?

Has anybody used one or anything similar with good results?

Bluetooth from phone to unit then transmit by fm to radio to receive and play, sounds like a recipe for poor quality.
Still at <£10 it's not going to be anything fancy and do recall my daughters having something that connected their MP3 player this way and it was really crap.

If you can get a bluetooth to stereo-jack device of some sort, & plug it into the aux-in, you'd have a cracking upgrade.

Seen them in the past for £20 or so, that'll be the way I'll do it eventually as I'm using A2DP a lot in other cars now & it's a pain plugging in the aux-lead in the zed.

edit: linky

that's the kind of thing - & with 147 sold I'm temped to get one & see if it's any good, it would be easy to run it off the 12v lighter in the zed.

So anyway I bought one of those, & it's awesome & much smaller than it looks in the photos :D

7dayshop now have them delivered for £16.99 delivered too, great little upgrade for the zed if you have a good phone :D

If you have an aux in, plug this into it instead & you've got bluetooth audio from your phone / iphone etc / tablet / carpc etc :)

certainly sounds like a great solution :D

My car picks up the bluetooth on the phone and recogises it as 'another external input device', so tracks work seamlessly like a mp3. It works pretty well for me, but admittedly most of my music comes from the harddrive. It doesn't seem worth it to bother loading music to my phone.

Like the look of this think I may have to invest although it would mean I'd probably stop using my iPod and just use my iPhone.

@ Andy based on your post took a chance and got the eBay one (7DS out of stock) amazing so much smaller than it looks in pics .Haven't tested in car yet but works brilliantly to a Sound dock ...just to check
it works Hopefully i will not have to guess what is going to play as with the BMW ipod connection kit which is fine except those flaming BMWx playlists
cheers again for the heads up
