Anyone use the BMW ipod lead?

Oh - and if you are near Kent, we are having an Intravee demo meeting tomorrow night :)

If you dont have a CD changer - is the DVD player for the Nav ok instead?
 
If you don't have the CD changer, the cables will already be there just loose and taped to the floor. I did not have a CD changer either.
 
Sorry to be even more thick here but..... where are the cables located? In the boot? The previous posts refer to the Intravee unit sitting beneth the DVD player. Also, would it allow the Ipod video function to work on the screeen?
 
Intravee does audio only, there is no video signal carried on the CD changer cables.

The cables are taped underneat the DVD player in the centre console, basically directly under where you can see the Intravee in my picture.
 
pvr.. have you got an easy way of removing the battery ?

Trying to remove the carpet to mount the intravee and and amp.. Have removed the locating arm thing, so the battery slides, but the mounting box thing is still there.

You seem to always have pics for all of this 8) :thumbsup:
 
dw.. done it, much easier than I expected ! (although I'd previously tried & failed.. )
 
Anyone have more information on mounting it through the trunk? I did mine through the front.
