Anyone use a steering wheel lock?

Thinking of getting a physical lock for the steering wheel. Added deterrent and all that. Anyone have any experiences/recommendations?

I highly recommend disklok - I've been using it for years - with my classic Mini. However in the z4 I think it would take up too much space...

Make sure you get one that covers or blocks the airbag.

It takes two seconds to pop the airbag off, undo the bolt and change the steering wheel. I'm thinking of those baseball bat type locks. But same principle applies to other locks which leave the airbag unit exposed to removal...

As commented above, the one I have is falliable as it doesn't cover the airbag but I reckon if someone is that determined then virtually nothing will stop them. Mine attaches to the rim and extends across the top of the dash, is small enough to easily slip on the floor in front of the passenger seat but when attached is visual and sturdy enough to put off people from having a go. And unlike some similar locks it will accept the thick rim of the Msport wheel. Got it from Halfords.

I use a disc-lol like this one on the z4 - https://www.landroverdefendersecurity.com/products/disklok-steering-wheel-lock
