Anyone tried this £10 Bluetooth? (bluemusic alternative?)

Has anyone tried one of these cheap Bluetooth modules that come with a microphone? Do they work? Can you answer calls without touching your phone?

I'm thinking about trying one but not sure how I'd connect the power wires.

Been there, done that, not doing it again.

This connects as an AUX and thus does not connect via CD changer wiring such as the Icelink, Bluemusic, Bluebus and similar alternatives do.

That means a very, very, very noticeable difference in sound quality. Connecting via CD changer wiring means way richer sound quality. Bluetooth auto connect was also poor (but may also be phone dependent).

Also, it does not do anything than pass a Bluetooth sound signal on. Thus, no steering wheel controls whatsoever and you have to do everything on your phone.

Installing the wiring is not that difficult; simply draw power from your existing fuse panel and connect to the body of the car. That can be done very easy in the surrounding of your head unit.
