Just found some H7 replacement 18 LED lights on ebay and wondered if anyone had tried them or if they are indeed bright enough to be replacements. I have upgraded my halogen dipped beam for 6000K HID's from HID DIRECT and wanted to match the colour up on the main beam but didnt fancy having twwo sets of ballests each side(not that there is anywhere to put them). What do you think?

I tried these a couple of weeks ago. I have Xenons in what I call the main headlight - those that come on when it is dark out - the outer lamps. The H7 LEDs were to replace what is on during the day time - inner lamps. Kind of a PITA to change - removal of front wheels certainly helps. But, I got the "bulb out" error, so I took them both out, and have since been trying to find out what size load resistor would be necessary to prevent the error. Nothing convlusive yet...
I was able to put (H11, I think) LED lamps as replacements in fog lights without any bulb out warning - Pretty happy with the results....

Nice to know - I might have to give that a try then.

I'm in the process of changing all my bulbs to 6000K - 7000K colour at the moment, but TBH iv'e owned the car for a year and dont even know how to turn the fog's on
