Collinite is very good stuff and not expensive at all. Just a bit difficult to apply in this weather!

Yup, complete waste of money.
Admittedly years ago i got caught by the diamond brite, but it was free even though they put it on the invoice at £200! Never again :wink:
If it were any good every car leaving the showroom would come from the manufacturer with this kind of surface coating as standard, rather than them spend millions on paint finishes.

Agree with the other guys. Money would be much better spent on some good wax/sealant.
Finish Kare 1000p is another great one; it's extremely durable, leaves a nice finish and can be used on your wheels aswell!

Many years ago, in a former life in the motor trade, I confess to selling (under pressure and duress) to selling Supaglaze. It was a spray on type of polish that cost us about £20.00 per application. We would sell it for as much as the mug.....erm, customer would pay. Often up to £200.00 which was shared 50/50 between the dealership and the salesman. Sounds like the same stuff.

Yea i used to sell it also. Cost about £20 plus £15 to the pikey kid *ahem* 'technician' to apply it. Would cost the customer £200-£300. Total ripoff. It works but its essentially no different to a wax.

FK1000p as recommended to me by Scott is very tough. Easy to apply and buff too.
